The Real Thing is a 10 min International Music Video Show for Independent artists. I am concentrating on Independent Artists as I know from first-hand experience how hard it is to get exposure on mainstream channels, when you are not a major artist like Beyonce or Jay Z. The Real Thing showcases fresh talent from around the on a fortnightly/monthly basis. A lot of these artists will have their videos on You Tube, but they would not have had the opportunity to be broadcast on TV before, and for the international artists it is a great opportunity to be seen by a UK audience. So our viewers will be watching music videos they would not have seen before.
